Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for an accounting position for a Leasing company based in Manatee County, FL
Duties:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Track and categorize expenses and bank transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments.
- Assist with federal, state, and local tax payments.
- Set up and track wage garnishments and child support orders.
- Assist with unemployment claim management.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, and GAAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with PayPlus Software preferred but NOT required.
