Onsite Monday-Thursdays, can work from home on Fridays)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Footwear Product Developer for a one-year contract assignment. This role is pivotal in the development of performance basketball footwear within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage project plans, ensure accountability among team members, and collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including design, color, and product line management. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality and discretion, as it involves work on signature athlete products.Key Responsibilities* Develop and manage project plans for performance basketball footwear.* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders in other geographies, which may require occasional evening calls.* Ensure project deadlines are met and maintain accountability within the project team.* Facilitate communication between design, color, product line management, and development teams.* Uphold confidentiality and discretion when working with signature athlete product lines.* Engage in the full footwear development process, distinct from initial design.Required Qualifications**Experience:** A minimum of 5+ years of experience is required, with a preference for experience in performance footwear development.**Skills:** Candidates must demonstrate strong project management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to create and execute project plans while holding team members accountable.Preferred Qualifications* Experience in footwear development with a major athletic brand.* Proficiency in reading 3D CAD model views.* A personal connection to or passion for basketball, such as experience as an athlete or in wear-testing.* Self-starting, ambitious, and deadline-oriented work ethic.* Confidence in influencing and communicating with teammates. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
