Piping Designer - Primoris Pipeline & Engineering

Piping Designer

Primoris Pipeline & Engineering is currently seeking a Piping Designer. This role will receive direction from senior-level designers and/or engineers and works to complete assigned work on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable codes, client standards and guidelines. A minimum of 5 years' experience working with piping design in the midstream oil & gas field is desired.

Job Duties

Prepare detailed piping plans and drawings according to design or markups.

Review completed designs for accuracy.

Participate in inter-discipline and cross-discipline checks.

Perform 3D piping layouts and equipment modeling.

Prepare documents and drawings using AutoCAD, CADWorx, or other design programs.

Qualifications/Skills

5-8 years of related design experience.

Basic knowledge of materials

Working knowledge of codes and standards, reference documents and guides

Very strong knowledge of AutoCAD, CADWorx Plant, ISOGEN, CADWorx P&ID and Microsoft Office products

Detail-oriented and organized.
