Technical Artist

Job Description We’re looking for a Technical Artist to join a fast‑moving VR organization, working hands‑on in a proprietary real‑time engine. This role requires a strong balance of technical skill, product judgment, and the confidence to manage scope, timelines, and expectations in a complex environment.
- Work directly within a proprietary real‑time engine to support VR development initiatives
- Partially manage and collaborate with external vendors, ensuring quality and alignment with internal standards
- Partner closely with cross‑functional teams, providing technical guidance and thoughtful pushback when needed
- Advocate for realistic timelines and scope, maintaining strong ownership over workload and priorities
- Apply strong product sense to technical decisions, balancing feasibility with impact
- Experience working in game engines; Unreal Engine preferred; Familiarity with Unity
- Software development experience, ideally with Python and C++ (preferred but not strictly required)
- Exposure to AI tools or workflows, ideally Claude Code
- Strong time management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Comfortable being embedded in a VR organization and navigating ambiguity with confidence • Android development experience
- React Native experience
- Strong C++ background Insight Global
