Refer a friend who’d be a great fit for One GI and earn a special bonus when they join the team!Snapshot of Daily DutiesPerform routine patient check-in procedures, including patient work-ups and new patient history.Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as directed by physician.Perform phlebotomy for lab work and complete required forms.Approve prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies at direction of physicians.Assist in maintaining general medical records.Schedule patient appointments and other procedures in the computer as needed.Schedule outpatient x-rays and tests as needed.The Must HavesMedical Assistant certification or the equivalentPrevious M.D. office experience or clinical work.Maintain current licensure and BLS certification.Maturity, empathy, and patience.Be special – Not everyone can do what we do.The ideal candidate must have the ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment and follow proper protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr Digestive Health Specialists
