Job Description Under direct supervision, this position will perform the final assembly and packaging of digital signage. Job Responsibilities: Reviews job travelers to determine sign type, sign components needed or other information for manufacturing functions. Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, and screws Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments. Uses multiple hand tools and fixtures including drills, jigs, nail guns, etc. to accomplish assembly tasks. Inspect dimensions of components to ensure accuracy of sign components and assembly. Cutting and assembly of wood crate for completed sign Responsible for cleanliness and organization of work area. Requires moving, lifting, or carrying sometimes large sign components Skills: Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks Mathematics — Using mathematics to solve problems- i.e. adding, subtracting, and converting decimals and fractions. Required Qualifications (Measurable): 1-3 years of manual labor experience 1-3 years of heavy assembly experience (non-automotive) in a manufacturing setting (preferred) High School diploma or equivalent Other Physical/Mental Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
