We are seeking an experienced  Medical Massage Therapist who is passionate about helping patients heal, recover, and optimize their health through therapeutic bodywork.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled massage therapist with experience treating both acute and chronic conditions through therapeutic massage techniques. This individual should be comfortable working closely with our medical physician and team to develop customized treatment plans that support recovery, mobility, pain reduction, athletic performance, and overall wellness.

This role may be structured as either:

• Independent Contractor (1099)
• Part-Time Employee (W-2)

The employment structure will be determined based on practice growth, scheduling needs, and company demand.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Medical massage
• Deep tissue massage
• Myofascial release
• Lymphatic drainage
• Sports massage
• Stretch therapy
• Trigger point therapy
• Prenatal massage preferred
• Post-operative recovery massage preferred
• Experience working alongside physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, or medical practices is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform individualized therapeutic massage treatments based on each patient’s goals and medical history.
• Collaborate with physician and clinical staff to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Assist patients with pain management, injury recovery, mobility improvement, and overall wellness.
• Provide education on stretching, recovery, hydration, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation.
• Deliver an exceptional concierge patient experience.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment according to clinical standards.
• Build long-term relationships with patients through exceptional care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Massage Therapy License
• Professional liability insurance if working as an independent contractor
• CPR certification
• Minimum of three years of professional massage experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Schedule

Flexible scheduling is available. We are initially seeking coverage approximately  two to three days per week , with the opportunity for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.
