Schedule: Flexible scheduling (.1 FTE) Clinical coverage support - Provide coverage for MD/Genetic Counselor joint visits and independent GC-only appointments. Care continuity - Support clinic operations during Genetic Counselor PTO, vacancies, and extended absences. Variable schedule - Workdays and hours will vary based on clinic needs; the schedule will typically be provided at least 2 months in advance. Flexibility preferred - May be contacted for short-notice coverage when unexpected absences occur. What You Can Expect: Participates in partnerships, projects and strategic planning involving genetics across the Health System. Serves as resource to physicians, hospital staff, and parents. Compiles complete family history, obtain and review medical records, assess risk of genetic disease and provide grief and crisis counseling to individuals and/or families.
