Rewinder Operator

Rewinder Operator - Machine OperatorDirect hire. Shift and pay: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Starting at $17/hr, with potential for more based on experience.Operates rewinding and thermal transfer machines to finish large rolls of printed labels into smaller, customer-specific rolls.Performs quality control, inspecting labels for defects and removing any misprints.Assists press operators by staging materials and helping with the makeready process.Contributes to shipping and receiving by operating a forklift to handle shipments.Performs basic preventative maintenance on equipment and maintains a clean, organized work area.Works as a part of a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.Compensation/Pay rate (up to): $17.00 - $19.00All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
