Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Wound Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Wound Ostomy Nurse (RN) – Local Contract | Newport Beach, CA Position Details Job Title: Wound Ostomy Nurse (RN) Location: Newport Beach, CA Assignment Type: Local Contract Contract Dates: June 22, 2026 – September 12, 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Work Setting: 100% Onsite Required Qualifications Active California RN License in good standing CWON (Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse) Certification – Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Minimum 4 years of clinical nursing experience Experience providing specialized wound and ostomy care What You'll Do Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound and ostomy management Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards Maintain accurate clinical documentation Ideal Candidate
