Machinist

Are you a precise CNC Machinist with 3+ years of setup experience looking for a role with a clear path to growth? We are seeking a CNC Machinist II to set up and operate our machining centers, use micrometers and calipers to guarantee part accuracy, and direct a Molding Helper to keep production running smoothly. salary: $54,433 - $72,592 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

3 years plus of experience running CNC machines

•    Ability to setup and operate computer-controlled equipment.

•    Able to work and communicate as a member of a team.

•    Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbal) in English.

•    Ability to convert weight and length units of measure such as inches to mm and pounds to grams.

•    Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions for machine operation.

•    Must have math skills and basic computer skills.

•    Must be able to use a caliper and micrometer for detailed part in-process measurements.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• CNC (2 years of experience is preferred)
• machine operating (2 years of experience is preferred)
• setup (2 years of experience is preferred)
• measuring tools (2 years of experience is preferred)
