Payroll Timekeeping Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Timekeeping Clerk to join our Human Resources/Payroll team. This position plays a critical role in the payroll process by accurately capturing time submitted by employees (daily and bi-weekly timesheets) for bi-weekly payroll. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has exceptional attention to detail while meeting strict payroll deadlines. Essential Responsibilities: Enter and maintain employee daily time records in the payroll system for bi-weekly payroll processing. Verify timesheet accuracy and identify missing or inconsistent information. Review time entries for completeness and compliance with company policies. Work with supervisors and managers to resolve payroll discrepancies before payroll processing. Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation. Meet established payroll deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Assist with payroll audits and reporting as requested. Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information. Provide administrative support to the Payroll and Human Resources department as needed. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of administrative, payroll, timekeeping, or data entry experience. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
