Warehouse Manager

About the Role:

The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of goods. This position is responsible for managing the flow of inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Warehouse Manager leads a team to execute order picking, inventory control, and warehouse management system (WMS) operations, ensuring seamless supply chain integration. They also collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support international shipping and logistics requirements. Ultimately, the role aims to maximize operational productivity while minimizing costs and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including international shipping regulations.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in supply chain or logistics management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
• Experience working within the transportation and warehousing industry.
• Familiarity with advanced inventory management software and automation technologies.
• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory control to meet company performance standards.
• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, process orders, and generate reports for management.
• Coordinate with supply chain, transportation, and international shipping teams to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and resource allocation.
