Dental Assistant

Job Description Job Description We are a Periodontal practice seeking an assistant for all standard procedures, from exams to x-rays to surgery. Also, implants with CBCT and surface scans with Trios. This is a great opportunity to join an established specialty practice that has been serving the community for over 40. . Responsibilities * Gather patient information and health background * Prepare the work area for procedures * Take x-rays of patients' teeth when necessary and display the results for the dentist * Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures * Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits Qualifications * A minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred * X-ray certification is a plus * Current BLS and CPR certification * Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures * Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Attention to detail Company Description Thank you for visiting.
