CCS Group is seeking a proactive, dependable, and safety-focused bilingual Traveling Construction Foreman to provide hands-on leadership to crews performing specialized concrete repair, protection, maintenance, and construction projects throughout the United States.
The Foreman works closely with the Construction Superintendent to coordinate daily jobsite activities, guide crew members, maintain safety and quality standards, and keep projects moving according to schedule. This is a working leadership position, meaning the Foreman leads by example and performs construction work alongside the crew.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required because the Foreman must effectively communicate safety requirements, work assignments, training, performance expectations, and jobsite concerns to English-speaking and Spanish-speaking crew members.
The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional who is bilingual (English/Spanish) and is ready to take the next step in leadership, communicates clearly, and can direct the crew when the Superintendent is unavailable.

What You Can Expect
Project Schedule
This position requires nationwide travel and extended periods away from home. A typical project assignment lasts approximately four to seven weeks, followed by approximately four to five days at home. The exact rotation may vary based on project duration, customer requirements, crew needs, and operational demands. The assigned crew generally travels, works, and takes scheduled time off together. Because each employee represents a significant part of a small crew, dependable attendance and reliability are essential to project safety, productivity, and completion.
A typical project schedule example is:
- Monday through Saturday, approximately 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Overtime and extended hours based on project requirements
- Occasional schedule changes based on weather, customer operations, safety conditions, deadlines, and other jobsite needs
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Superintendent in coordinating daily jobsite operations, including safety, crew assignments, project schedules, materials, equipment, quality, documentation, and project closeout.
- Work alongside the crew while providing hands-on direction, training, and support to complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
- Communicate safety procedures, work assignments, training, project requirements, and performance expectations effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Assist with project pre-planning, safety meetings, hazard assessments, equipment inspections, and required jobsite safety documentation.
- Reinforce CCS Group, customer, OSHA, MSHA, and jobsite safety requirements, and promptly report unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, near misses, or equipment concerns.
- Review project scopes, engineered drawings, specifications, schedules, and related documents, and communicate applicable requirements and work assignments to the crew.
- Monitor daily work progress, quality, materials, equipment, and deadlines, and promptly communicate delays, shortages, staffing concerns, safety issues, or other project risks to the Superintendent or Operations Director.
- Provide leadership and direction to the crew when the Superintendent is unavailable, including assigning work, maintaining productivity, and reinforcing safety and quality expectations.
- Promote dependable attendance, teamwork, accountability, respectful communication, and compliance with company standards.
- Assist in training and developing crew members by demonstrating proper work methods, equipment use, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Participate in pre-job meetings, project mobilization and demobilization, trailer inventory, and preparation for upcoming assignments.
- Coordinate, inspect, and safeguard company-owned and rented tools, equipment, vehicles, trailers, materials, and jobsite inventory.
- Maintain an understanding of CCS Group’s services and identify potential repair, maintenance, or additional project needs for review by the Superintendent or company leadership.
- Maintain accurate safety, production, equipment, timekeeping, and project records as assigned.
- Maintain regular and dependable attendance throughout each project assignment.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
This is a hands-on construction position with management responsibilities. The employee must be able to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Inspect job sites and identify safety, equipment, material, and quality concerns.
- Work at heights exceeding 150 feet while properly using required fall-protection equipment.
- Work in confined or restricted spaces.
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, stairs, and industrial structures.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, grip, and maintain balance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, construction equipment, and required personal protective equipment.
- Work in noisy, dusty, dirty, wet, hot, cold, windy, and changing weather conditions.
- Remain in a stationary position for portions of the workday when required.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Occasionally move equipment or materials weighing up to 125 pounds, independently or with appropriate team or mechanical assistance, depending on the task.
- Work extended shifts, overtime, Saturdays, and irregular hours based on project needs.
- Travel nationwide for assignments typically lasting four to seven weeks.

What You Bring: (Minimum Qualifications)
- Fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to clearly communicate safety instructions, work assignments, training, employee concerns, and jobsite information in both languages.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant construction experience.
- At least one year of experience in industrial, commercial, concrete, civil, agricultural, structural, masonry, millwright, shotcrete, nozzleman, carbon fiber, exterior painting, or specialty construction.
- Ability to perform hands-on construction work while guiding and supporting other crew members.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety practices, construction tools, equipment, materials, and work procedures.
- Ability to provide clear work direction, demonstrate proper work methods, and hold crew members accountable for safety, attendance, quality, and productivity.
- Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to recognize jobsite concerns and promptly communicate them to the Superintendent or Operations Director.
- Regular and dependable attendance throughout extended project assignments.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide, work extended project rotations, and work the required Monday-through-Saturday schedule.
Preferred But Not Required Qualifications and Certifications
The following qualifications are preferred but are not
required at the time of hire. CCS Group will provide employees with opportunities and resources to obtain the following training and certifications:
- Previous experience as a foreman, assistant foreman, crew lead, lead worker, manager, or other construction leadership position is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, specifications, project scopes, and other construction documents.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that satisfies company and insurance requirements.
- OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Construction certification
- MSHA Experienced Miner certification
- Aerial lift or operator training
- Nozzleman Certification
- ACI or ASA wet-mix or vertical certification
- SAIA Suspended Scaffold Competent Person certification, Frame Scaffold Competent Person certification
- Applicable DOT qualification or endorsement
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Fall-protection training
- Confined-space training
- Concrete repair or restoration experience
- Shotcrete experience
- Industrial coatings experience
- Silo, grain-handling, or agricultural facility experience

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
CCS Group offers:
- $28.00 - $36.00 hourly & Eligible for OT. Hourly Rate is based on relevant experience, qualifications, and certifications
- $2,000 sign-on bonus paid out $1,000 @ 90 days and $1,000 @ 180 days
- Referral Bonus for existing employees of $2,000 when new hire reaches 90 days
- Per Diem is $25/day for all days worked over 4 hours. Per Diem also includes lodging paid for, reserved, and managed directly by CCS on workdays.
