Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)

License: Valid DC Physical Therapy license required
Certifications: CPR required
Must-Have:
BLS certification required
2 years of pediatric experience preferred
Description:
DC license in hand is required for this position.
This position is for a Pediatric Physical Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
The start date is as soon as possible.
Daily caseload averages 5-8 patients.
The patient population is pediatrics.
No weekend or on-call requirements.
The clinician will not float within the scope to meet facility needs.
An accommodating block schedule is open to consideration.
Local candidates are accepted.
The documentation system used is Cerner.
Productivity expectations are set at 10 half hours a day.
The facility has a multidisciplinary rehab team model.
Available equipment includes parallel bars, LiteGait, FES, aquatic therapy, wheelchairs, standers, adaptive strollers, and adaptive tricycles.
Scrub color can be any color, but logos should be avoided.
The charting system is Cerner.
This position may involve occasional exposure to blood, body fluids, or non-intact skin.
The facility maintains a non-smoking environment with zero tolerance for violations.
Compliance is expected prior to the start of the assignment, with no pending items.
References are preferred and must be available upon request.
