Dining Room Host

The dining room host is responsible for creating a welcoming and hospitable environment. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized space while actively engaging guests to ensure they have an exceptional dining experience. Dining Room Hosts anticipate guest needs, provide table touch touches, assist with dining room flow, and support the Front of House team. Refill beverages, sauces, napkins, and other dining room essentials when needed Assist guests with trays, high chairs, or additional requests Respond quickly and courteously to guest needs or concerns Thank guests as they leave and create a positive final impression Dining Room Maintenance Maintain a clean and organized dining room at all times Ensure when you change trash that you’re wearing gloves, and you’re not leaving piles of trash in the dining room while changing trash. Clear and sanitize tables promptly after guests leave Sweep floors and keep high traffic areas free of debris Clean chairs, booths, and high chairs Ensure the condiment stations are stocked and cleaned Maintain clean restrooms by checking cleanliness and supplies regularly “every 30 min” Ensure all door windows are clean and free of major smudges Parking lot check every 30 minutes Playground check every hour, including the outside trash We want the guests to see that our restaurant is clean, but make sure you’re not leaving mops, dust pans or any other cleaning supplies laying around the store. Keeping the closet clean and organized at all times. ( No food, no drink no extra personal items are to be kept in this closet) Hospitality & Awareness Be attentive and aware of the dining room environment Look for opportunities to serve guests before they ask Support guests who may need additional assistance (families, elderly guests, women with children etc.) Help maintain a calm and welcoming atmosphere Surprise and delight young children with mini plush cows Team Support Communicate with cashiers, runners, and kitchen team members about guest needs Assist with tray carrying when necessary Support the Front of House team during busy periods Clean trays Key Expectations Maintain a positive and energetic attitude Demonstrate strong hospitality and guest-first mindset Keep the dining room clean, organized, and welcoming Be proactive rather than reactive to guest needs Make sure you’re focusing on guest needs during high impact times, and worrying about the “deeper” cleans in our slow periods #J-18808-Ljbffr
