Leave of Absence Specialist

Leave of Absence Specialist Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (Onsite 3 days/week) A growing organization in Boston, MA, is looking to hire a Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist to manage all employee LOA programs, workplace accommodations & compliance. They are looking for a candidate with direct experience managing LOAs and workers' compensation claims, while providing high-touch support to all employees. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end leave of absence programs, including FMLA, state/local leaves, military leave, disability, personal leaves, and company-sponsored leave benefits while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. Partner with third-party vendors, HR, Legal, managers, and employees to administer leave programs, manage ADA accommodations, resolve complex cases, and provide clear guidance throughout the leave process. Maintain accurate leave, benefits, and compliance records, including tracking systems, employee communications, payroll coordination, benefit invoicing, COBRA administration, and state leave requirements. Oversee the full lifecycle of workers' compensation claims, including claim administration, documentation management, litigation support, return-to-work coordination, and light-duty accommodations. Qualifications 4+ years of direct LOA administration experience (including workers' compensation) Strong knowledge of employer compliance, including FMLA, ADA, and multi-state laws Systems savvy, including experience utilizing a Leave Management system Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
