Description

American Traveler is hiring a multi-modality CT/XR Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a short-term acute care hospital setting, with experience in both CT and general X-ray required.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 153 staffed beds
• CT Scan unit with 2 Philips IQon CT Scanners, 2 Siemens DR XR rooms, Carestream portables
• Patient population includes adult and pediatric patients across ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings, including stroke cases
• Stroke 1 accredited facility
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required up to 4–5 times per month; call coverage includes general X-ray for nights and weekends
• Weekend availability required
• Charting in Cerner (experience required)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Proficiency with CT and general X-ray (multi-modality CT/XR)
• Experience with Siemens, Carestream Portable, and Philips equipment required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• IN state or Compact license required; pending IN state license accepted — license required if applicable
• 2 supervisor references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (IN residents) are accepted
• May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility
• Must be comfortable working independently at times
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO can be auto-approved
• Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have a 12-month break before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system must take a consecutive break before reapplying: 90 days for out-of-state residents, 180 days for in-state residents
• Royal Blue scrubs required
• Free parking on-site
