Dental Assistant

Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: Tyrer Dental Care / Jonesboro, AR Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care, ensure patient comfort, and manage administrative tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, including handing instruments and suctioning Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certificate preferred Current certification in CPR/BLS Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments Familiarity with dental software and digital charting is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team Preferred Skills Experience in chairside assisting for general dentistry Comfortable with digital radiography and sterilization protocols Excellent patient care and education skills Benefits (if Applicable) Competitive salary Paid time off Continuing education support #J-18808-Ljbffr
