ACLS certification. PALS certification. BLS certification. NRP certification. Level 3 NICU skills. Acute care experience in Medical-Surgical, Emergency Care, and Critical Care. Strong time management skills for managing heavy patient loads. Experience with Bipaps, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units. Ability to assist with intubations and bedside bronchoscopy. Proficient in EMR charting. Description: Unit profiles are designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of the work environment. The unit has 160 beds and 32 staff members. Day shift staff consists of a minimum of 5-6 members, while the night shift has 4-4.5 members. Patient ratios follow an RVU system. The unit is equipped with various types of equipment including PB vents, Drager V500, Aerogon s, V60 Bipap, HHFNC, Hamilton C-transport, Oscillator, Jet, NITRIC, and Bubble CPAP. EMR system used is Epic. The ideal candidate must possess skills in critical care and be comfortable working in high-acuity settings. Candidates should be self-motivated and willing to support a collaborative environment. Dress code includes scrubs in pewter gray. The department fosters a cohesive environment with long-term experienced staff. There are motivated and progressive physicians within the team.
