Adjunct Faculty Public Relations-Integrated Marketing Communication

Adjunct Faculty – Public Relations, Integrated Communication, Social Media, Strategic Writing The Department of Communication is seeking adjunct faculty members to develop and teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in our public‑relations and professional‑communication programs. Candidates should have professional public‑relations and/or integrated marketing communication experience. Prior teaching experience is a plus. Responsibilities Develop and deliver instruction for courses in Integrated Communication, Social Media Management, Public Relations Management, Strategic Multi‑Platform Writing, and other courses as assigned. Prepare and maintain syllabi, assignments, and assessment tools. Incorporate the integrated marketing communication mix into curriculum and support student success in a complex professional environment. Qualifications Master's degree (MA, MFA, or MBA) required. Proven professional experience in public relations and/or integrated marketing communication. Expertise in integrated marketing communication, social/digital media management, multi‑platform writing, advertising, crisis management, marketing, and public relations. Commitment to teaching diverse student populations. Strong understanding of the intersections between the above areas. Teaching competence is preferred but not mandatory. Compensation & Benefits Adjuncts are paid per credit: New employees – $2,100/CREDIT ; Employees who have worked for 13+ semesters at WP – $2,175/CREDIT . This position may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health and dental insurance and retirement plans.
