About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby care License: New Hampshire RN License or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Must-Have: Proficiency in all aspects of Labor and Delivery care Epic EMR experience AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years (preferred) Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Candidates will provide care in all aspects of a Labor and Delivery unit. This includes delivery, mother/baby care, postpartum, nursery, and newborn resuscitation. Candidates must be proficient in all Labor and Delivery specialties. This position emphasizes support and empowerment during the pregnancy experience. Nursing care will be provided to patients from infancy through adulthood. The nursing process will be individualized in accordance with nursing philosophy, objectives, and standards of care. Any requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted upfront. Requests for time off after submission will not be approved. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Work two blocks during the holiday periods is required. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within five days of offer acceptance. Proofs must be uploaded according to requirements. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. No block scheduling will be considered for this position.
