Senior Tax Accountant

We are an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm specializing in accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. Position: Tax & Accounting Senior Location: East Coast, hybrid schedule (with occasional extended hours during busy seasons) Salary: $100K – $115K annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications Schedule: 9:00am – 5:30pm, hybrid Role Overview: This is a diversified role including a mix of general accounting and income tax preparation. The candidate will evaluate and record client business transactions, review the work of accountants assigned to their workload, and interact with clients and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and review general ledger accounts, journal entries, and closings for accuracy. Perform all phases of tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research. Prepare various tax returns, including Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts; identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with Partners and Managers and assist with ad-hoc assignments and special projects.
