Cardiology - Interventional Physician

A well-established, physician-led cardiovascular practice in southeastern North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing team. Due to continued patient demand and long-term succession planning, the group is adding another Interventional Cardiologist to support its growing cardiovascular and vascular service lines.

• Guaranteed base salary of $750,000 annually
• Partnership opportunity available from day one

• Established patient base with immediate procedural volume
• Monday Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Excellent APP, clinical, imaging, and procedural support
• Shared regional weekend call averaging only approximately two weekends per quarter

• Excellent opportunity for a physician interested in both coronary and peripheral vascular work

Clinical Practice
The incoming physician will enjoy a balanced combination of outpatient cardiology and procedural work.
Typical volume includes:

• Approximately clinic patients per day
• More than 325 coronary procedures annually
• Approximately peripheral angiograms per week
• Approximately venous procedures per week
• Broad referral network supporting both cardiac and vascular services

The practice receives referrals from primary care physicians, internal medicine providers, emergency departments, wound care programs, and regional cardiology groups that do not offer comprehensive vascular services.

The main cardiovascular facility offers extensive onsite diagnostic and procedural capabilities, allowing physicians to deliver a broad spectrum of care in one setting.

• Dedicated physician exam rooms
• Onsite nuclear cardiology laboratory

• Peripheral angiography outpatient-based laboratory
• Comprehensive diagnostic center
• Cardiovascular ultrasound services
• Experienced clinical and procedural staff
• Advanced Practice Providers supporting both clinic and hospital responsibilities

The practice is affiliated with a large regional medical center located just minutes from the primary office. The hospital offers:

• More than 900 beds
• Four cardiac catheterization laboratories

Team
Join an established cardiovascular team that currently includes:

• Two experienced Interventional Cardiologists
• Two Advanced Practice Providers
• Dedicated cardiovascular ultrasound technicians
• Experienced nursing, laboratory, and administrative support staff

Call
Call responsibilities are designed to remain manageable:

• Weekdays: physicians primarily cover their own patients
• Weekends: shared regional call
• Approximately two weekends per quarter
