About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a telemetry setting License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: - Experience with high-risk cardiology patients - Critical care cardiac drips management - Post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients - Sheath pulls and central line management experience Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a telemetry unit. The position involves caring for patients with cardiac conditions. Nurse-patient ratios will be 1:5-6. The role requires every other weekend commitment. There is a need for ability to float within patient units. Candidates should have experience with BiPAP and chest tube management. The nurse will monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry. Communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential. Candidates must be capable of performing essential nursing procedures related to telemetry care. The role requires management of cardiac drips without titration. A positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing situations are necessary.
