This is a long-term, full-time position supporting the DuPont Newark E&I Site. Work Schedule – Varies, occasional overtime is required. General Description Under direct supervision, assigned daily work, must complete weekly cleaning records. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Job Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, including fixtures;removing trash, replenish rest room supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, andsoap) Clean break rooms and refill supplies. Sweep, mop and buff floors and steps; strip and wax floors as needed Vacuum floors and clean carpets as needed Window cleaning Clean, dust and wipe furniture; empty / clean wastebaskets and trash containers Assist with set up and cleanup of events; including moving furniture Watch for safety issues (trip hazards, leaks / spills / lighting issues., etc.) Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the site supervisor and ultimate direction from the site contract administrator. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. Performs other duties and activities as directed.
