Become a part of the exceptional team at Children's Medical Center as a Program Director, leading efforts to enhance clinical care, education, and innovative research.

• Promote clinical excellence by guiding a multidisciplinary team to provide top-tier care for around 250 pediatric sickle cell patients.

• Foster program growth and innovation through the development and assessment of evidence-based protocols aimed at improving patient outcomes.

• Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, community organizations, and advocacy groups to broaden the program's impact and enhance community support.

• Offer clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary Sickle Cell Disease program, recognized as a NASCC site.

• Comprises 13 skilled Pediatric Hematology-Oncology physicians.
• Integrated team including advanced practice providers, program coordinators, social workers, and psychologists.
• Operates an outpatient clinic during weekdays.
• Collaborates on initiatives related to pain management, pulmonary hypertension, moyamoya/vasculopathy, and quality improvement.
• Serves as a clinical partner site for a local medical school, actively participating in the education and training of future physicians.
• Children's Medical Center is the only Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in the area, serving 46 counties in central Texas.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Must possess a valid Physician MD/DO license from the Texas Medical Board prior to the start date or job transfer.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) is required.
