Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rocky Meadow Counseling, your key responsibilities will include: Managing a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and creating a positive therapeutic environment that respects professional ethics and boundaries. Conducting regular sessions to monitor client progress, stability, and scheduling while transitioning clients to discharge as appropriate. Developing, implementing, and reviewing personalized treatment plans that incorporate client feedback and progress. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including detailed progress notes for each session. Performing comprehensive intake assessments, gathering essential background information to inform treatment approaches. Participating in weekly individual supervision sessions for professional growth and clinical development. Collaborating with an integrated care team, including psychologists and primary care providers, to ensure cohesive treatment plans. Patient Population / Client Focus This role is primarily focused on serving youth and their families, addressing a range of mental health challenges. Clinicians will be equipped to work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts. Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements specific to clinical settings. A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations or substance abuse clients. Proven experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic keyboarding abilities. Preferred Experience Experience working with youth and adolescents, particularly in an outpatient setting. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in counseling, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches. Previous involvement in an interdisciplinary team environment. Skill in building collaborative relationships with clients, families, and community resources. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 65,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
