Senior Network Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, governance and evolution of enterprise‑grade network infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments. This role blends hands‑on engineering with policy, compliance and strategic planning.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the full lifecycle of network solutions, including design, deployment, optimization and documentation
• Lead network changes and ensure alignment with security, performance and compliance standards
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers and internal engineering teams to resolve complex issues and deliver large‑scale initiatives
• Drive network governance, including policy development, risk assessments, vulnerability management and audit support
• Maintain accurate configuration baselines, inventories and compliance validations
• Support business continuity planning and provide operational on‑call coverage
• Lead remediation efforts to address findings and strengthen network resilience

Technical Expertise

• Hands‑on experience with automation and IaC tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Python, GitHub)
• Proven ability to deliver infrastructure as code
• Cloud networking experience (AWS)
• Strong background in designing and operating core network technologies:
• Firewalls, DNS/IPAM, NAC, load balancers, DDoS mitigation, packet capture/tapping, NTP
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, COBIT) and IT audit practices
• Experience with Cisco IOS/NX‑OS, GRC platforms or CIS Benchmarks

Compensation

• $120-140k base compensation
• 15% annual bonus
