Account Collection Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Collection Specialist with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable collections while also providing administrative and marketing support across departments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable & Collections
    • Contact customers regarding past-due invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence
    • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
    • Maintain accurate records of collection activities and payment arrangements
    • Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
    • Assist with processing payments and updating account information
  • Marketing & Event Support
    • Assist the marketing department with printing invoice backers, promotional flyers, and marketing materials
    • Help coordinate and manage event registrations through Eventbrite and similar platforms
    • Support promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives as needed
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide general administrative assistance to multiple departments
    • Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry
    • Support internal coordination for events, promotions, and departmental projects
    • Handle additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related financial role
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Experience with CRM or accounting software is a plus
    • Familiarity with marketing support tasks or event registration platforms is a plus
