Senior Manual QA AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Manual QA Analyst for a Public Sector Organization in St. Paul, MN. This is a long-term contract opportunity. This position is remote with occasional onsite requirements. Compensation Range: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications.Position Overview: This role is for a solid manual QA tester who can quickly learn and adapt. The position involves planning and executing end-to-end testing of integrated systems, writing and executing SQL queries, and validating the integration layer within a government healthcare systems environment.Key Responsibilities:Work with the appropriate resources to define and write Functional and Technical Testable Requirements (Waterfall) and/or User Stories and Acceptance Criteria (Agile)Have a complete understanding of all Functional and Technical Requirements and/or Acceptance CriteriaHave a complete understanding of the design document to ensure the design complements the RequirementsWork with the Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor and/or QA Lead to create the Level of Effort (LOE) estimate, Test Strategy, and Test Plan for all testing activities within the projectWork with Business Analysts (BA), Developers, and Database Administrators (DBA) in defining and writing detailed and reusable Functional, System Integration, and Regression Test Cases and completing the Requirements Traceability MatrixAccurately document all defects in the defect tracking tool promptly and attend and participate in the Defect Triage and Review meetingsCommunicate effectively, provide statuses, and escalate issues to the appropriate resource(s) promptlyComplete required QA documentation, including obtaining approvals and sign-off, in an accurate and timely mannerExecute Manual and Automation Test Cases for various test types (smoke, functional, regression, etc) according to the Test Plan or explain why risk-based / priority testing is executedPerform other related duties as assignedProvide knowledge transferPrimary Requirements:Five (5) years' experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst role including planning and executing end-to-end testing of integrated systems and validation of the integration layerOne (1) year of experience using remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, SharePoint, etcOne (1) year of experience using standard QA tools for creating, storing, and sharing testing documentation, including real-time test execution reportsExperience writing and executing basic Structured Query Language (SQL) query commandsTwo (2) years' experience testing Cúram solution for healthcare reform and/or downstream integrated systems that consume or use the Curam healthcare dataTwo (2) years' experience testing MMIS (Medicaid Management Information Systems)Two (2) years' experience testing mainframe application/various mainframe utilities – Time Sharing Option (TSO), Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF), and Job Control Language (JCL) ExperiencePay range: $47.42 - $57.42 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
