Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) Specialist in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This position involves providing specialized care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing interventional, procedural, and diagnostic procedures, and supporting patient care through competency in various advanced skills. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), valid license for practice in the state of Washington with active compact license for eligible candidates, and experience with blood and blood product administration, cardioversion, warming/cooling blankets, and obtaining 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKGs). Experience in cardiac catheterization, interventional, and procedural care required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with assistive procedures such as central line insertion/management, sheath removal, and management of dysrhythmias. Prior experience in a trauma level I or II setting, as well as familiarity with community hospital environments, is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be able to assist with special procedures including biopsies, vascular stent placement, and work in a multidisciplinary support environment. On-call requirements include one weekday and one weekend per month, with hours varying between 8 and 10 hours based on staffing needs. The role involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations, with a daily census of approximately 2 rooms. References must cover a one-year period, with specific documentation to be maintained as per compliance standards.
