Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 + bonus (range is flexible based on experience)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience, including leading quality organizations within electronics manufacturing environments.
- Multi-site manufacturing quality leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, PFMEA, CAPA, ERP systems, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Experience with electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT and through-hole assembly.
Preferred
- Quality/Lean Certifications: ASQ CMQ/OE, CQE, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, and/or IPC-A-610.
Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Division Quality Manager for one of our Fortune 250 Manufacturing clients. The Division Quality Manager is responsible for leading the quality function across a complex, multi-site electronics manufacturing operation. This role oversees quality systems, supplier quality, customer quality, production quality, compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
Reporting to the General Manager with a strong partnership to corporate quality leadership, this individual serves as a key member of the division leadership team and leads a team of quality professionals across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Develop and execute quality strategies that align with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Oversee supplier quality, customer quality, manufacturing quality, inspections, and audit programs.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, CAPA programs, and cost-of-poor-quality reduction efforts.
- Ensure compliance with electronics manufacturing standards, including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
- Lead internal audits, external audits, supplier assessments, and corrective action initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve quality, manufacturability, and process performance.
- Champion Lean, continuous improvement, quality-at-the-source, and preventative quality methodologies.
- Act as the Management Representative for Quality Systems.
