Sales Representative (Bilingual in Spanish)

Job Summary The Sales Representative will be responsible for marketing Class Produce Group products to new customers obtained by the sales person and to existing customers assigned by management. In addition, the salesperson will provide superior customer service to both their customers and other Class Produce Group customers. Job Duties & Responsibilities Secures new accounts by spending time in the field, obtaining initial and repeat orders, utilizing excellent time‑management skills relative to planning and organizing daily and weekly work schedules to call on existing or potential customers Submits orders taken in person or by fax, phone and email to order entry and double‑checks accuracy of orders and follows up with customers to ensure customer delight Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual customer and competitive analysis Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products and merchandising techniques, etc. Becomes a partner with each customer and works together with them to grow their business using a consultative approach Recommends changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management Benefits Medical, prescription, vision, dental insurance Company‑paid disability, life insurance and identity theft protection FMLA, traditional and Roth 401K, matching and profit sharing (when eligible), FSA and HSA options Paid vacation, sick leave and holidays And much more Requirements College degree preferred but not required MS Office skills required Knowledge of Prophet a plus Prior produce sales experience required Three or more years of produce sales English/Spanish bilingual preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Customer service skills Meeting sales goals Closing skills Negotiation skills Presentation skills Territory management Prospecting skills Working Conditions Work is split between the company office and on‑site customer locations. The position requires regular local and/or regional travel to meet clients in person. The role is partially located in an office environment with moderate to low noise levels and is typically sedentary. Customer environments can vary widely, including offices, retail stores, warehouses, etc. Daily use of a computer and phone system is necessary, as is interaction with staff, candidates, and vendors.
