Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma Center for an evening/night shift position in a hospital respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit.

Details

• Evening and night shift positions available with shift times of 1900–0730, 2300–0730, and 1500–2330
• 8 and 12-hour shift options available
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required
• One on-call shift required every 6-week scheduling period
• 13-week contract with the option to extend to 26 weeks

Requirements

• Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; pending license at time of consideration is accepted
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist required
• Experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar-sized facility required
• Graduation from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
• Pediatric and adult experience preferred
