Registered Nurse (RN) - Psych/Rehab Float Unit
Location: Largo, FL
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 07:00 AM - 06:30 PM
Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a psych/rehab department and is expected to float as needed. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, administer medications, and assist with the evaluation and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the psych/rehab setting.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in patient education and advocacy.
- Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Experience in psych and rehabilitation nursing preferred.
