A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated PT to provide specialized care and support at an Early Childhood center near Ozark, MO. This full-time position is an excellent fit for someone passionate about pediatric physical therapy and enthusiastic about working within a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
- Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create individualized treatment plans
- Organizational skills and initiative for managing a varied caseload of early childhood students
- Compassion, patience, and communication skills tailored to working with young children and their caregivers
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Implement direct therapy services to children ages 3-5, addressing a range of physical and developmental abilities
- Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress and participation
- Contribute to IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain detailed records
- Coach staff and families on strategies to promote motor skill development and overall wellbeing
- Participate in center-wide activities, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
