Job Summary The Insurance Benefits Verification Specialist plays a crucial role in the fertility practice by ensuring accurate insurance coverage for patients. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of insurance policies and procedures. The role is patient facing and involves money collection and financial conversations with patients. Essential Job Functions Rotate weekends and holidays as necessary Book appointments (eIVF) Update patient demographics/Insurance Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage for fertility treatments and procedures Update patient records with insurance verification information Collect patient out-of-pocket costs and co-payments Communicate insurance information to patients in a clear and concise manner Answer patient questions regarding insurance coverage Stay current on changes in insurance regulations and policies that affect fertility Position Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Effective communication and listening skills Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and other software Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Front desk experience in physician practices Strong understanding of medical insurance terminology and procedures Ability to display compassion towards patients and coworkers Strong problem resolution skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible schedule Salary: $21–$22 per hour Location: Island Fertility - Fertility Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Days This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
