Welder - 2nd ShiftEarn a $1,250 Sign-On Bonus!About the RoleThe 2nd Shift Welder (Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM) plays a critical role in the manufacturing and fabrication process by producing high-quality welded components that meet precise specifications and safety standards.This position requires the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to accurately assemble metal parts using various welding techniques. The Welder works closely with production teams to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining strict adherence to quality control procedures.Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety are essential, as this role involves working with potentially hazardous equipment and materials. Ultimately, the Welder contributes to the efficiency and success of the production line by delivering durable, defect-free welds that support manufacturing goals.Schedule2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AMMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentWelding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) or equivalent credentialAbility to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbolsKnowledge of welding safety standards and proper use of PPEPreferred QualificationsExperience with automated or robotic welding systemsAdditional certifications such as CWI or specialized welding process certificationsFamiliarity with metal fabrication and assembly processesBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment maintenanceExperience in a fast-paced production environmentResponsibilitiesPerform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, or other methods as requiredRead and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawingsInspect welded joints for quality and accuracy, making adjustments or repairs as neededMaintain welding equipment and tools in good working conditionFollow all safety protocols and company policiesCollaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targetsDocument work performed and report issues or discrepancies as requiredSkillsThe required skills enable the Welder to accurately interpret technical drawings and apply appropriate welding techniques to produce strong, precise welds.
