This opportunity is for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse working four 10-hour day shifts per week with a rotating late shift component, totaling 40 guaranteed hours weekly. The role is based in a rural setting, and travelers must have reliable personal transportation as public transit is not available. The RN will prepare and assist in setting up the operating room for scheduled procedures, ensuring all required supplies, instruments, equipment, and specialty implants are properly organized pre-operatively. The position supports a variety of surgical cases with a strong focus on orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures. The nurse is expected to work collaboratively with the surgical team to maintain efficient workflow and uphold patient safety standards. Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as post-offer scheduling changes will not be approved.

Requirements:
Candidates must have at least two years of current Operating Room experience, including both scrub and circulating responsibilities. Orthopedic and neurosurgical experience is required. EPIC EMR proficiency is mandatory. Applicants must hold an active RN license (or Compact license if applicable) and current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications. A supervisory reference from within the past two years is required, along with completed and current scrub and circulate skills checklists. All work history details, permanent address, and any requested time off must be included at submission. The nurse must have dependable personal transportation due to the rural location. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage surgical workflows efficiently are essential for success in this role.
