Maintenance Technician III / Electro Mechanical Technician

Role: Maintenance Technician III Location: Alexandria, VA Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production and manufacturing equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and related equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical components including starters, fuses, contacts, relays, and frequency drives/VFDs. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Troubleshoot mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic components. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform root-cause/breakdown analysis. Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime. Read and apply equipment manuals, technical documentation, and manufacturer instructions. Perform equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur. Work independently with limited supervision while following established safety and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to appropriate team members.
