About the Role
Express Employment International is seeking a Director, Product Delivery & Quality Assurance to lead enterprise-wide product management, Agile delivery, and quality assurance practices. This senior IT leadership role will drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure product investments deliver measurable business value.
The ideal candidate combines expertise in enterprise product management, Agile delivery, software development lifecycle (SDLC), quality assurance, and organizational leadership within complex, large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Define and execute enterprise product management and delivery strategies aligned with business and IT objectives.
- Translate organizational goals into product roadmaps, delivery priorities, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and investment decisions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor managers responsible for Product Ownership, Delivery Methods, and Quality Assurance.
- Establish clear performance expectations, accountability, and professional development plans.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and servant leadership.
Product Ownership & Business Value
- Ensure consistent product ownership practices, including vision, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to maximize value realization and operational outcomes.
- Guide roadmap planning and strategic trade-off decisions.
Agile Delivery & Execution
- Oversee Agile delivery frameworks and SDLC practices across multiple teams.
- Improve delivery predictability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and resolve organizational barriers impacting delivery performance.
Quality Assurance Leadership
- Champion quality-first development practices and continuous testing strategies.
- Promote test automation, early testing, and strong collaboration between QA and delivery teams.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics to support continuous improvement.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Develop portfolio-level reporting for product value, delivery performance, and quality outcomes.
- Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
- Support governance processes that enable effective decision-making and transparency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, technology delivery, software development, or IT leadership.
- Experience leading managers and overseeing multiple teams within enterprise technology organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, product management, SDLC, and quality assurance practices.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale digital transformation, enterprise implementations, or organizational change initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise-scale technology environments with complex product portfolios.
- Background in digital transformation, enterprise applications, or technology modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading teams of 5+ direct and indirect reports, with experience managing larger organizations preferred.
