  • Direct foremen, operators, and laborers while holding crews accountable for production targets
  • Track daily production, quantities installed, and unit costs against estimates using Raken and Excel
  • Review prints, specifications, and submittals to identify conflicts, changes, and extra work early

  • Coordinate inspections, testing, density reports, and quality documentation
  • Complete daily reports, timecards, and photo documentation using T-Sheets and Raken
  • Manage punch lists, restoration, and project closeout to the owner’s satisfaction
  • Recruit, train, and develop foremen and crew members while providing performance feedback

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of heavy civil field experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Project Manager
  • Proven ability to manage a jobsite from the general contractor relationship through field laborers
  • Ability to read and work from prints, plan and profile drawings, and specifications
  • Working knowledge of excavation, trenching and shoring, backfill, compaction, and grading requirements
  • Ability to manage schedules, production, and quantities and report accurately
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including a 10-panel non-DOT or 5-panel DOT drug screen and 10-year background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with gas distribution, fiber, water and sewer, or site development projects
  • Experience with scheduling or project management software
  • OSHA 10 and Competent Person training for excavation
  • Operator Qualification (OQ) for gas work, with covered tasks varying by gas company and generally not required on the excavation side
  • Estimating, takeoff, and change order management experience
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and remain on site daily
  • Walk the jobsite over uneven terrain and around open excavations throughout the day
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Work in and around heavy equipment, active roadways, and live utilities
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including flame-resistant clothing where required

What You Can Expect

  • Competitive Compensation
  • Life, dental, and vision insurance available the first of the month following 60 days of employment
  • After 1 year: 3 paid holidays, 1 week of vacation, and bereavement pay
  • After 4 years: 2 weeks of vacation
