We don’t just fix issues; we build resilient environments.**Position Overview**We are seeking a Tier II IT Technician with strong experience in workstation support and a solid comfort level with networks, servers, and MSP environments. This role blends remote support, onsite troubleshooting, and hands-on implementation work. You’ll handle escalations from Tier I, perform deeper diagnostics, and assist with configuring and maintaining client infrastructure.**Key Responsibilities**• Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network issues (remote and onsite). • Support and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and file/permission structures. • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPNs. • Deploy, image, and configure workstations, laptops, and related hardware. • Assist with server builds, migrations, and infrastructure projects. • Document work clearly in the PSA system and follow internal processes. • Participate in client onboarding, network assessments, and environment documentation. • Provide mentorship and technical support to Tier I technicians. • Assist with staging, prepping, and organizing equipment as needed for project rollouts.**Benefits*** Competitive pay with clear opportunities for advancement.* Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurances* HSA and FSA* 401(k) with Matching Schedule* PTO and Paid Holidays* Ongoing training, certification support, and professional development* A team culture built on accountability, growth, and doing things the right way.---**Join Us**If you’re confident with networks and servers, enjoy solving real-world problems, and want to be part of a growing MSP that prioritizes quality and security, we’d love to meet you. At Summit IT Solutions, you’ll make a direct impact on client environments while continuing to grow your technical expertise.\*\*THIS POSITION REQUIRES strong understanding of NETWORKING and SERVERS## Qualifications• 2+ years of IT support experience, MSP experience preferred. • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, firewalls, DHCP, DNS). • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD/Entra, and Microsoft 365 administration. • Solid troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. • Excellent communication skills and professionalism with clients. • CompTIA A+ and Network+ required.
