Position: 1st shift Forklift
Pay: $17.00/hour
Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm / 6:00pm - 2:30am
Location: Portage, IN
- Operate sit-down forklifts and other production equipment effectively
- Perform assembly, packing, and inspection duties to meet production goals
- Record production data for inventory management, including good parts and scrap
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through basic housekeeping
- Support team efforts to achieve targets and complete additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with sit-down forklifts essential
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Effective communication skills across all levels
- Basic math skills and computer literacy for data entry and touchscreen operation
- Forklift, sit-down forklift, forklift operator skills
- Attention to safety and quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player
- Basic technical aptitude for machinery operation
