Waste Technician

Job Title Primary Job Functions Collect and transport baled cardboard to designated disposal or recycling areas. Remove and dispose of trash and recycling gondolas throughout company campuses. Collect and transport scrap metal to the appropriate recycling or disposal locations. Move and organize used pallets as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe loading docks and waste collection areas. Operate company vehicles safely while traveling between buildings and facilities. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid non-CDL Class C driver's license or a Class C learner's permit required. Candidates with a permit must be able to obtain a valid non-CDL Class C driver's license while employed. Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment. Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required. Strong attention to safety, organization, and teamwork. Education, Experience and Certification Required/Preferred Education Level: Required High School. Required/Preferred Years of Experience: Required 1 year Experience with waste management. Required/Preferred License/Certification: Preferred Certification None. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment. Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required. Strong attention to safety, organization, and teamwork.
