Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or have licensure in progress, active by the date of hire, along with an active NYS DEA certificate
Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA general surgery residency program is required
Board Eligible or Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery, with fellowship training
New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
Foster a team-oriented leadership style within oncology, digestive health, and women's health services
Conduct colorectal surgeries using advanced robotic, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive techniques
Engage in a collaborative approach to patient care, emphasizing high-quality, patient-centered outcomes
Work alongside a team of surgeons and APPs to manage inpatient care and call responsibilities
Contribute to the expansion and development of the colorectal surgery service line
Build relationships with a robust network of primary care providers for referrals and continuity of care
