Senior Director Automated & Connected Lab Portfolio

Senior Director role leading end-to-end product strategy and business performance for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences' Automation & Connected Labs portfolio, including BioMek and Echo platforms, enterprise automation solutions, and associated software and connectivity capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3–5 year portfolio strategy and integrated roadmap across BioMek, Echo, automation software, and enterprise solutions
- Lead product management for BioMek and Echo platforms and drive Voice of Customer insights to identify growth opportunities
- Define portfolio architecture and data standards including APIs, device drivers, and integration frameworks with R&D collaboration
- Translate strategy into actionable product requirements, pricing, packaging, and launch plans across hardware and software
- Lead Access Solutions Group overseeing large-scale integrated automation system delivery and complex enterprise engagements; manage portfolio P&L and financial commitments
Requirements
- 12–15+ years in product management within life sciences, lab automation, scientific software, or industrial automation
- 7+ years leading product management teams
- Experience owning integrated hardware and software portfolios with platform ecosystem strategies
- Demonstrated success in regulated environments and enterprise deployments (GxP/Part 11, data integrity, cybersecurity)
- Strong commercial acumen in pricing, portfolio P&L management, and enterprise solution selling
- Technical fluency in lab automation, robotics, scheduling/orchestration, data platforms, cloud/SaaS, and API-first architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
