Charge RN Cardiac Care

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Charge RN Cardiac Care professional to provide clinical leadership and coordination on a specialized cardiac care unit within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Charge RN, you will oversee daily patient care operations for a diverse population of cardiac patients, including those with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, post‑interventional cardiac procedures, and other complex cardiovascular conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and an interdisciplinary care team, you will assign nursing staff, prioritize patient care needs, and ensure adherence to evidence‑based cardiac care protocols, quality metrics, and patient safety standards.

In this role, you will serve as a clinical resource and mentor for bedside nurses and support staff, providing real‑time guidance on cardiac assessments, rhythm interpretation, titration of cardiac medications, and response to changes in patient condition. You will support rapid recognition and escalation of deteriorating patients, coordinate responses to cardiac emergencies, and help facilitate transfers to higher levels of care when necessary. You will actively participate in patient and family education related to cardiac disease management, medications, lifestyle modifications, and discharge planning to support safe transitions of care.
